Joy is our third Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, our first show and breeding quality Cavalier. She was born on March 27, 2013. Her official title is Canadian Grand Champion Dawnaquinn Ode 2 Joy. Her sire (father) is American and Canadian Champion Loranka’s Igglepiggle (Ziggy), is an import from Great Britain. Joy’s dam (mother) is Canadian Champion Dawnaquinn Golden Dragon RA (Alice). Alice has completed her Rally Advanced title.

Joy is from a repeat of the breeding that produced BISS Canadian Champion Dawnaquinn We Take Berlin, who also has several agility titles. Berlin won the Canadian Cavalier King Charles Spaniel National Specialty in 2012, the first whole colour Cavalier to ever do so.

Joy is a beautiful ruby girl. She is a very feminine girl, our lovely redhead. Joy is 13” tall. Her disposition is sweet, loving, playful, and happy. Joy is intelligent, an independent thinker, friendly to anyone she meets, and is great at cuddling, as are most Cavaliers. She also loves to play tug and fetch.

Joy has attended puppy classes and Conformation (showing) classes. We just completed her Canadian Grand Championship.  We will also focus on  training her for Rally Obedience.

Joy has had her health clearances completed:

• Heart Cerf – 2014
• Eye Cerf – 2014
• DNA for Episodic Falling Syndrome – clear – 2014.
• DNA for Curly Coat/Dry Eye Syndrome – clear – 2014
• Hip Dysplasia Free – 2014 – Joy’s hips have been OFA certified as ‘good’, with no signs of hip dysplasia.

Joy is now retired from breeding.
